Did You Know.... Medfield High School has been named a 2008 Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education. Only 55 high schools nationally received this award and only two were from Massachusetts. The award recognizes schools that either showed dramatic gains in student achievement or are academically superior. Medfield qualified for the latter category.
U.S. News and World Report in collaboration with School Evaluation Services, an affiliate of Standard and Poor's, awarded Medfield High School a silver medal in its America's Best High Schools project, placing the school in the top 3% of 21,069 high schools analyzed. (From 2009 Schoolmatters.com.)
NeighborhoodScout.com, a company specializing in relocation software and real estate investment advising, analyzed and leveled standardized test scores nationwide and ranked Medfield High School the number two best-performing public school in the country.
