Medfield High School has been named a 2008 Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education. Only 55 high schools nationally received this award and only two were from Massachusetts. Medfield qualified as an academically superior school. U.S. News and World Report in collaboration with School Evaluation Services, an affiliate of Standard and Poor's, awarded Medfield High School a silver medal in its America's Best High Schools project, placing the school in the top 3% of 21,069 high schools analyzed.
